What Functional Labs Really Show
These programs are designed for women who are ready to take a structured, root-cause approach to their health. Most clients are navigating persistent bloating, hormone imbalance, fatigue, inflammation, or stress-related symptoms that have not resolved with conventional advice.
If you are looking for a quick fix or a surface-level meal plan, this will not be the right fit. If you are ready for clinical clarity and long-term change, you likely are.
We focus on sequencing.
Rather than layering multiple protocols at once, we stabilize foundations first, assess data thoughtfully, and move in a strategic order. Gut health, hormone balance, nervous system regulation, and metabolic stability are interconnected. Addressing them in the correct sequence allows the body to respond more efficiently.
This is structured, not reactive care.
In most cases, yes.
Foundations allows us to stabilize digestion, blood sugar, mineral balance, and stress physiology before advancing into deeper clinical testing. This prevents overwhelm and improves outcomes.
If you have already completed foundational work elsewhere, this can be discussed during your consultation.
Foundational blood chemistry and HTMA testing are included in the Foundations Program.
Advanced functional labs used in the Total Transformation Program — such as GI-MAP, DUTCH, Organic Acids, or MRT — are not included in the monthly investment and are billed separately. Lab recommendations are based on individual need.
No.
Functional lab testing is used to identify patterns and healing opportunities. Testing is not used for diagnostic purposes, and this is not medical care. Clients are encouraged to maintain a relationship with their primary care provider.
Not necessarily.
Supplementation is used strategically and only when appropriate. The goal is targeted support based on your symptoms, lab findings, and clinical priorities — not long, unnecessary protocols.
Foundations always come first.
The programs are designed to integrate into real life.
There will be dietary and lifestyle adjustments, but the goal is sustainability — not perfection. Most clients find that once routines are established, the process becomes manageable and predictable. The actual time commitment is very minimal.
Clients who have reached stability can transition into the Maintenance Program. This includes bi-annual blood chemistry review, proactive monitoring, and ongoing access to lab ordering and guidance.
The goal is long-term stability without intensive support.
That is what the consultation call is for.
During that call, we review your symptoms, health history, and goals to determine whether Foundations or Total Transformation is the best starting point. Almost everyone starts with the foundations.
Yes.
I work with children when there are concerns related to digestion, food sensitivities, inflammation, mood regulation, focus, or other functional health patterns. The approach is always gentle, structured, and family-centered.
When appropriate, testing may include:
GI-MAP to assess digestion, microbiome balance, and inflammatory markers
Vibrant Wellness food sensitivity testing using a simple finger-prick sample
Organic Acids testing to evaluate nutrient status, gut metabolites, mitochondrial patterns, and detoxification markers
Testing is only recommended when clinically appropriate and after reviewing symptoms and history. The goal is not to over-test, but to gather meaningful information that can guide targeted nutrition and lifestyle support.
All pediatric clients must have an established relationship with a pediatrician or primary care provider. Functional health support does not replace medical care.
For children, we do labs up front in the foundations program and begin working on the results once the results are in.
No.
All programs and services are self-pay.
I do not accept insurance and do not provide CPT codes, diagnostic codes, or superbills for reimbursement. Functional lab testing and health coaching services are considered elective and educational in nature.
When individuals have tried to use insurance in the past, they ultimately ended up paying more money than they would have if they had done self-pay as there is a 4-5x mark up on labs when insurance is involved.
This model allows for longer sessions, individualized care, comprehensive lab review, and structured ongoing support without the restrictions imposed by insurance companies.
The focus remains on root-cause investigation, prevention, and optimization — not diagnostic labeling or symptom management alone.
Clients are responsible for all program fees and lab costs not explicitly included in their selected program.
There are no refunds on services provided or lab assessments.
